Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant.
  5. 5. Stir in the dried oregano, chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper flakes. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  7. 7. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spoon some sauce over each piece, and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
